The Union Power Charitable Foundation (UPCF) is excited to announce its inaugural fundraising event, Clays for a Cause, set to take place on November 14, 2025, at Four Branches Shooting Preserve in Polkton, NC. This sporting clay shoot will serve as UPCF’s signature fundraiser, with the goal of raising the lion’s share of our charitable support for the year.
The event brings together community members, supporters, and outdoor enthusiasts for a day of camaraderie and giving. All proceeds will directly benefit local nonprofit organizations, helping UPCF continue its work to improve the lives of those in and around the five-county service territory in which Union Power Cooperative serves.
“This event is more than a fundraiser,” shared Carrie Stroud, UPCF Board Chair. “It directly fuels the work of the UPCF, helping us provide critical support to local nonprofits and families in need by investing in programs that make a lasting difference in people’s lives.”
